Build Quality: Aluminium Composite vs Injection-Moulded Plastic

Both products are well-engineered, but the materials tell different stories. The Thule 976000 is made from injection-moulded plastic. However, if you own any other brand of rack, if you want a product that includes everything you need in the box, or if you want the convenience of having your NZTA supplementary plate sorted for you, the Safelite Light Bar is the better all-round solution.
